About Rea Quarter Horses

Here at Rea Quarter Horses, LLC we have a staff of seven who work to take the best care of your horse and help it develop to its full potential. We have been training for the public since 1983 and have a long list of satisfied customers. We keep the owners apprised of their horse's progress with regular communication. References will be provided upon request.

At Rea Quarter Horses, we do not train Quarter Horses exclusively. We have started the following breeds under saddle: Paints, Hanoverians, Oldenburgs, Mules, Arabians, Morgans, Saddlebreds, Thoroughbreds, Irish Draughts, Tennessee Walkers, and large ponies. Many horses come to us needing retraining after a career change, problems eliminated, or just a refresher course after a lay off.

We provide lay-up care for horses following surgery or injury. We train and condition horses for sales using an individualized feeding program designed to get the maximum development from each horse. Our large foaling stalls and expert care allow us to foal your mare in Kentucky for KBIF eligibility or simply because you would prefer someone else to do this.

Learn more about horsemanship and the responsibilities of owning a horse through our lesson program. Private lessons allow each rider to progress at his or her own comfort level and gain other knowledge about the horse in addition to the development of riding skill.
